Book Deliveries!

A couple of updates.
Firstly, I know, I know. It’s been a while since I’ve posted. But honestly, so much has happened, and I just did not have the time (or the will power) to sit down on Sunday evenings and write a weekly blog about something meaningful. But that is about to change. I’m less busy now and will endeavour to post regular updates. I promise.
Lately I’ve been delivering autographed copies of my book in Edmonton, Sherwood Park and St. Albert. Personal book deliveries are great! Even though they may be a tad time-consuming, the reason why I chose to do them is because it gives me an excuse to finally see my friends after about a year and a half of quarantining. In the picture with me is the amazing Francie Goodwin-Davies, a great friend of mine that I've known for over 15 years now. It is so great to catch up, even if for just a couple of minutes. I’ve delivered 60 books and have 40 more to do before Christmas. I’ll be placing another order to have more on hand shortly. If you’d like to purchase an autographed copy, send me a message at martin.galba@gmail.com.
Being a self-published author doesn’t mean the job is done once the book is out there. No, no, no. Getting the word out is the hardest, I find. So, I’ve been doing some research and I learnt a thing or two about how to get my book on the Indigo/Chapters shelves across the city. That is going to be my next task, along with continuing to write Book 2. A lot of you have asked when it’s coming out. Book 1 ends with a cliff-hanger and folks CAN’T WAIT to get their hands on Book 2. It’s coming. I promise it will not take 12 years to publish. I’m aiming to have it out in the summer of 2022.
In the meantime, if you have any fan theories brewing, send them my way. I’d be curious to hear what you think.
